Scope of project:
A commercial office set within a small industrial park with shared parking facilities. The customer is moving their company vehicles to EV and would like to have charging facilities at their offices.
Solution:
EV Park completed a site survey to identify the power available and the location of where would be best to install the charging point. To keep the installation as cost effective as possible, EV Park provided a full proposal based on the installation of a 7kW single phase charge point on the wall with a plan to utilising existing ceiling voids and trays to ensure no cabling was visible throughout the office space.
EV Park provided expert advice to the customer and details on their options when setting up the charge point via the EV Park Network. In this scenario, the customer has been able to create a new revenue stream by allowing members of the public to use the charge point outside of working hours for a fee.
Project Learnings:
Clear signage for EV drivers will increase the utilisation on sites where they are accessible to the public and other businesses.
